IMPORTANT: This version of the album is in a compressed format (MP3). For uncompressed WAV, look below this album (may download slower)! Please download the tracks! The previews play lower quality audio and all I ask is for an email!

These are my demos of songs I've written over the years! All were written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by me at my amateur home studio.

I do tend to jump from genre to genre, so here's a quick rundown of the tracks' styles:

Lyrics

Crowns

Verse:

Fearing what is possible
I will hold back and hide
In the corners of a tainted mind
The doubt is always there
always, always

Chorus:

But I will understand
The cards dealt in my hand
And I will lay them down
And claim my rusty crown
(You try to fly too high, You try to fly too high
Kiss all your dreams goodbye, Kiss all your dreams goodbye)

Verse:

Testing my last resolve
You scream and shout and cry
Are you scared of leaving me alone?
Because you’re always here
always, always

[Chorus]

Bridge:

Is there something
In the soul that
Screams aloud
Endless whispers
Haunting figures
Try to bring me down

[Chorus]

Bruises

Verse:

Walking out on the stage
My mind was racing towards the chorus
I’m scared my vision starts to fade
but it just makes me focus
What a way to begin to see
Your eyes piercing through me
But my euphoria was blind
You were chaining my mind

Chorus:

Oh Natalie
Oh can it be
That my bruises are healing?
Oh Natalie
Will you be watching me tonight?

Verse:

Two years and change we cannot find
a way to leave our pride behind
I give it all, I give it up
to you my future breakup
All of your words cut me inside
I’ve got no place to hide
Cliches were all that I could make
You were such a “Miss take”

[Chorus]

Bridge:

Tonight…

Oh Natalie
Oh can it be
That our bruises are healing?

Oh Natalie
Will you be watching?

Time is tearing us apart
I’ve got a chance at a new start x4
I’ve got a chance at a new start x2

Oh Natalie
Oh can it be
I’ve got a chance at a new start x4
I’ve got a chance at a new start x2

Won’t Find Me

Verse:

I got a wrenching affliction
With a wicked pulse
Begging for my attention
Let me eat you whole

With a skullcap full of fire
and a throbbing vein
Throw your creeping pain on my pyre
Let me keep you sane

Chorus:

Won't find me in your heart
Ain't got nothing to do with love
Won't find me in your heart
As I pull your skull apart

Verse:

This pain is sharp and stabbing
a cancer in my mind
I want to open it up but
I'm scared of what I'll find

With a tortured heart,
My lungs rip and hack
But no matter what I do
it keeps on crawling back

[Chorus x2]

There ain’t no cure for what I got
It won’t stay away
I got my back wide open
Ready to betray

I don’t want your solution
I don’t want your lies
Just another to suffer with
Another to baptize

(Won’t find me in your heart x2)

[Chorus x2]

In Motion

Verse:

Sweating to last night’s dream
The one you were poisoning
Married and unhappy too
Still waiting for your debut

Was there a chance you missed
Lips you were supposed to kiss
All I see in your dead eyes
are memories unrealized

Pre-Chorus:

But I’m looking back
Watching you collapse
and my hands are open

Chorus:

But I don’t need that
No I don’t need that
My life’s still in motion

No I don’t need that
I’m not looking back
My life’s still in motion

Verse:

My vision turns lucid
Your inhibitions, abusive.
My bed might be a lonely place
but I still can’t erase your face

Was there a word you missed
lost inside a meaningless kiss
All I see in your dead eyes
are memories unrealized

Pre-Chorus:

But I’m looking back
Watching you collapse
and my hand is open

[Chorus]

Bridge:

And I’m waking up x2
And I’m waking, I’m waking, I’m waking up
And I’m waking up x2

[Chorus]

Ambivert

Verse:

Midnight and party’s pumping
And I don’t want to go home
But my anxiety’s hopping and
begging me to be alone

The band blasts a song and the speakers are overblown
I guess it’s my curse to pick up the microphone

Verse:

I don’t want to go home
But my anxiety’s begging
cuz I’m on my own
Small talk just gives me tension

The band hits a beat and the crowd feels it in their bones
It’s now or it’s never to leave my comfort zone

Verse:

My my my my
what a wonderful night
I’ll need a week to recover
but for now, it’s giving me life

The crowd wants an encore, anxiety won’t get through
The Band is behind me, I’m staying here for you

Refrains

Verse:

When looking back at all we’ve been
Wondering how I got to let you in
The white noise fades and turns to black
And I just want your smile back

I have not always been where
I was needed to mend the tear
But if I could make amends
Maybe I could better comprehend

Chorus:

Your pain
Don’t refrain

Verse:

All of my memories slip away
of when we held a brighter day
My mind bends to wonder when
I will get to hold your heart again

Maybe my hands were too rough
Maybe I didn’t do enough
Maybe I wasn’t a friend
Maybe I could better try to

Chorus

End your pain

Change refrains

Bridge:

I don’t mind your pain my friend
I don’t want to see your end
Show me how I can be what you need

Verse:

I don’t know where we go from here
All of the words just interfere
I don’t care what you think you lack
I just want your smile back

Maybe we could just hold hands
Maybe we could slowly start to stand
Maybe our wounds will start to mend
Maybe we could better work to end

Your pain
Better work to lift
Your chains
Better try to

Chorus:

End your pain
Never refrain

Outro:

I don’t mind your pain my friend
I don’t want to see your end
I don’t mind your pain my friend
